FAQ’s

How far will you travel?

Anywhere in the UK and abroad.

I’m based on the border between Surrey and London. I won’t charge travel within 100 miles road distance.

Are you insured?

Yes. I have public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance.

What cameras do you use?

I use Fuji X cameras and lenses. They are professional, small and quiet and are perfect for discreetly photographing a wedding. In fact they can be used silently, which is very important during the quiet moments of a wedding. I always have 2 of them with me, plus a back up camera and lenses near by.

Do you take posed and group photographs?

Yes. While you’ll hopefully be booking me for my skills as a documentary wedding photographer, I do realise that some couples will want a few posed shots and group photographs. If you wish, some time can be taken to take some posed photographs.

The group shots can be worked out in advance and with the help of a friend or family member can be taken with the minimum of fuss or time. The last thing I or you want is your wedding to turn into one long photoshoot.

Do you take photographs of the venue?

You’ll have invested money and time in the look of your wedding, so I’ll take photographs of the venue and the details.

Do you only take black and white photographs?

I shoot all the photographs in colour, then using my experience and judgement convert the ones I think will look best in black and white to black and white. Any of the photographs are available in either black and white or colour.

What happens before the wedding?

Once full payment has been received, I will send you a questionnaire for you to fill in. This will be the details of locations and timings and the names of the principle people that will be attending your wedding, plus any special requests eg. group photographs.

What happens after the wedding?

All the photographs are downloaded and backed up, then edited and processed. Once that is completed I will upload the photographs onto a secure online gallery and send you then on a USB memory stick. I always plan to have the photographs ready within 2 weeks of the wedding.

Do you produce albums?

I am able to produce a printed album of your photographs. Prices depend on how many photographs and pages you wish to be included and start at £300. Discounts are available for multiple albums.
